   3. Connection and Operation.

3.1 Use with a Blu-ray/DVD/ player, TV and speakers.


Step 1 Connect the Blu-ray/DVD Player (and other signal source) to the HDMI IN on converter with an HDMI cable.

Step 2 Connect converter HDMI OUT to TV with an HDMI cable.

Step 3 Connect 5V/1A power adapter to the converter.

Step 4 Connect the amplifier to the Coaxial / Optical / 3.5mm Aux OUT using specific cable.

3.2 ARC function


Step 1 Connect converter HDMI OUT to the HDMI (ARC) port on TV.

Step 2 Connect the amplifier to the Coaxial / Optical / 3.5mm Aux OUT using respective optical fiber/coaxial cable/3.5mm audio cable.

NOTE: ARC support is TV dependent.

Please note, when using this ARC function, you may need to change some settings on your TV.

Turn on the TV’s HDMI-CEC function. In this example it’s under system, then expert settings.

Next, change the TV’s audio format and the HDMI audio format to PCM. Both of these are under system, sound then expert settings.

Finally change the audio device from TV speaker to Receiver (HDMI).
